Clinical Supervision

Working with clinicians, whether they are new to private practice, contemplating it, or have already made the move, is something I enjoy engaging in as a Washington State approved supervisor.

Somatics and Sustainability

I bring more than 20 years of clinical expertise from community mental health, social services, and private practice.  I view psychotherapy through a somatically-informed lens, with a focus on trauma recovery and growth.  My doctoral research and application on facilitating presence and embodiment within telemental health is also leading the way for the counseling profession's next generation.

In addition to helping you grow and hone your skills as a clinician, I will assist you with the business side of expanding your practice and helping it to become self-sustaining. As a successful business leader, I founded and oversee the
Reiki Training Program, the only state-licensed vocational school of this healing art.  I bring a non-conventional, spiritual, and theoretically grounded approach.  We will collaborate to identify your ideal clientele, investigate your preferred therapy modalities, focus on your area of expertise, develop a marketing strategy to attract that client base, and, of course, navigate the hurdles of starting a solo practice.

Fees and Structure

My rate for one-on-one supervision is $150 per hour and for two people working together, it's $200. By working in a dyadic setting with a supervisor, you can earn supervision hours while receiving extra encouragement from a fellow peer and insight into how others are starting to practice and deal with new obstacles. Each clinician will pay $100 per hour of dyadic supervision because the two supervisees share the same hour and the expense.

Meetings for supervision can take place online, or in-person at either my West Seattle or Fremont offices.

Contact me by writing  "Supervision" in the subject line of your email and send it to eileen@somi.clinic.
