WAGES
$41.68/hour - $66.70/hour (Salary and Contract options available)

Hybrid: Telemental Health and offices in Fremont and West Seattle.

DUTIES
As an entry-level licensed mental therapist, you will work in close collaboration with one or more senior therapists at SOMI Clinic. We are accepting applications from individuals who are newly licensed as well as those with more experience. Here are highlights of the key aspects of your role you will find yourself responsible for:

provide in-office professional clinical therapy services to clients in our furnished offices in either/both West Seattle or Fremont locations

provide telemedicine clinical therapy services on a case-by-case basis using a clinic-provided telemedicine platform
-
perform new client intake and ongoing clinical assessments
-
implement treatment plans and interventions
-
respond to emails, contacts, and referral requests from established and prospective clients
-
collaborate with colleagues in the practice as needed
-
manage client notes and paperwork on the secure online platform
-
participate in company-provided continuing education courses to keep your license current
-
help promote an inviting atmosphere for our clients in a professional setting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Master's or doctoral degree in clinical/counseling psychology, marriage and family, or clinical social work.

An active/unrestricted license in the State of Washington, such as LMHC,
-
LMFT, LICSW
-
Ability to be credentialed and accepted by insurance panels. SOMI Clinic will manage this process for you.

Strong clinical and patient empathy skills to provide quality mental health services
-
Demonstrate a therapeutic niche or strong interest in developing a specialty.

Strong interpersonal and patient empathetic skills.
-
Demonstrate familiarity with medical billing coding (company manages insurance billing)
-
Excellent writing and communication skills
SOME GREAT THINGS TO HAVE
Here are some of the extra things useful skills or experiences you can think about
that will help you do well in the interview:

experience providing therapy services for a diverse range of clients (your internship hours count)

experience completing client intakes and screening
-
experience and familiarity with HIPPA compliance as a clinician

knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
